The O-rings keep elements such as water out of the connector. To connect and disconnect, simply unscrew the caps and loosen the screws. The connector has multiple sealing levels, consisting of O-rings, waterproof sealant, and flexible end seals.
The connector has an IP67 waterproof rating. Once each end is connected, the wiring is fully protected . The major advantage of this cable connector is its nominal voltage of 400 volts and a nominal current of 5A. This makes it ideal for transporting high-voltage electricity.
