It has a rubber seal on the gland that seals the inserted wires tightly.
The connector material is UV-resistant and suitable for outdoor use.
The contacts are made of brass and are additionally protected against oxidation with a nickel layer.

These have an operating temperature of -40 to +125 degrees Celsius.
In addition, the screw connectors are equipped with a double rubber seal.
If you have a thicker outer casing you can remove the small seal to allow for the use of thicker casings.
The seals are replaceable.
