WS2813B Digital PIXEL LED strips
These LED strips feature special WS212B LEDs, which are already equipped with a controller chip. This allows you to control each LED individually, in color and brightness. No complex wiring is required; these LEDs are controlled in series by a specially developed microcontroller. Only three wires are used: ground, +5V, and a serial data signal.
Arduino, Raspberry Pi and T1000 control
On the LED strip itself, this serial information is passed between the LEDs, from the serial output of one LED to the serial input of the next. This allows you to align the colors at the beginning and end of any length of LED strip, or even create a display that can display images. This digital LED strip is ideal for controlling with an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or a T1000 controller.
Cascade switching
Each pixel of the three primary colors has 256 brightness levels, suitable for a full-color display. The scan frequency is at least 400Hz/s. Each pixel of the three primary colors can achieve 256 brightness levels, resulting in a full-color display of 16,777,216 colors, and a scan frequency of at least 400Hz/s.
Digital control is achieved by means of a single line which is passed per LED.
The refresh rate is 30fps for low speed 512 pixels and high speed not less than1024 points.
Data transmission speed can be up to 800 kbps.
Applications include LED decorative lighting and indoor/outdoor LED video displays. The LED used here is the WS2813B, a 4-pin SMD 5050 package, for extra-high light output.
PLEASE NOTE: To control such LED strips, you need a digital LED strip controller.
