Coupling for rail lighting
This connector is a handy solution if you want to extend your track lighting. The connector is suitable for the ZX track, which we also offer. It's suitable for single-phase track lighting. The connector simply pushes into the track.
1 phase and 3 phase track lights
You can power your track lights in two different ways: 1 phase or 3 phase.
With a single-phase system, electricity flows between two wires: the live and the neutral. If you choose single-phase lighting, all the lights belong to the same group. This means all the lights are switched on and off, and dimmed simultaneously. The major advantage of a single-phase track is that it is often less expensive and has a cleaner appearance than a three-phase track.
With 3-phase track lighting, you use three wires, all connected to the neutral wire. This allows you to create three different lighting groups that can be controlled separately. This gives you more freedom in arranging the lighting, allowing you to choose whether to illuminate or de-illuminate different areas.
