Light is one of the most important environmental factors, making it an important technology in the cultivation industry.
Using special lamps, a combination of 6 types of light can be made.
Each color has its own wavelength and therefore provides different stimulation.
This LED light features two independently adjustable bulbs. Thanks to its high flexibility, you can easily adjust the light, allowing your plants to get the most out of it. The light has both red and blue LEDs, controlled by the pre-assembled controller. This allows you to adjust the light intensity as well as the color of the LEDs. You can choose between all- red, all -blue , or mixed purple LEDs, with each color creating a different effect. The controller also has a timer function that automatically turns the lights off after 3, 9, or 12 hours. Finally, the light is powered by a USB cable that you can easily connect to an adapter.
Which colors for which purpose?
Special LED lamps for plants provide 6 different colours of light.
These are not the normal colors you probably already know, each color has special wavelengths.
In addition, each color has its own purpose:
- Red: Red light is used to stimulate plant growth
- Blue: Blue light can enhance chloroplast activity and thus improve the plant's photosynthesis
- Purple/Violet: The purple violet color is actually a combination of the special red and blue wavelengths and therefore promotes both growth and photosynthesis.
- Green: The green light penetrates deep into the leaves, even those that grow low to the ground, and stimulates leaf growth.
- White: White light simulates the sun, the plants grow naturally without any additional stimulation.
