Product description
This X-shaped surface-mounted junction box with IP68 protection is designed for safely connecting, distributing, and protecting electrical wiring in both indoor and outdoor applications. Its fully waterproof and dustproof construction makes the junction box ideal for use in damp or demanding environments such as gardens, garages, workshops, homes, or underground installations.
The enclosure is made of impact-resistant and UV-resistant thermoplastic (PC/PA66) and complies with the IK09 shock resistance and UL94 V2 flame retardant standards . The junction box is equipped with four cable gland entries – 2x M20 (Ø 7–12 mm) and 2x M16 (Ø 5–10 mm) – allowing for easy connection of various cable thicknesses.
The integrated quick connectors (1x 3-pin and 1x 1-pin, both sides) ensure a fast, reliable connection. A classic screw connector is also included for extra-secure connections. Thanks to the high-quality silicone seals, the enclosure remains watertight and dustproof for extended periods, even when mounted underground.
