This handy cable connector allows you to easily split your underground cable in four different directions. The maximum cable cross-section that fits in the cable connector is 4mm², and the cable connector is suitable for 3-wire cables. Furthermore, the cable connector is completely waterproof, so it can be used safely in your garden or other damp environments. It is also fire-resistant and UL94 V1 certified. The splitter supports a maximum operating voltage of 450V and a current of 25A.
What is UL94 V1?
UL94 is the standard for fire resistance of plastic materials. This cable connector has the UL94 V1 quality mark, which means it will stop burning within 10 seconds if the object is placed in a vertical position. The cable connector's material is designed to stop a flame itself. It's possible that the material has melted and drips, but according to this quality mark, the drips are no longer flammable.
